Very classic indeed. Huge flavour and exceptional with strong red wines

Ingredients
  • 250 gm soft Creamcheese
  • 200 gms of your favourite blue cheese, softened
Topping:
  • ¾ jar Perth Pepper and Pestle Balsamic Fig Red Pepper Jelly
Garnish:
  • 200 gms blue cheese, crumbled
  • 3 slices of crisp bacon, crumbled
  • fresh sliced apples
Instructions
  1. Lightly blend the softened blue cheese into the creamcheese til well blended and smooth.
  2. Spread mixture evenly into shallow decorative dish. Then spread the Balsamic Fig Red Pepper Jelly over the creamcheese.
  3. Scatter the crumbled blue cheese and the bacon over the top of the jelly.
  4. Decorate one side of dish with apple slices.
TO SERVE
  1. Serve with your favourite crackers, fresh apple or Asian pear slices
  2. Leslie Stowe Rainforest Crackers are superb with this combination and they are very sturdy.
