Hearty, easy and delicious. Turn your favourite tomato soup into something you’ll really crave. Make it Moroccan. Enjoy the raves.

Ingredients
  • 1 L your favourite store bought soup (our favourite Creamy Tomato Soup, Pacific Brand)
  • 2 cans (540ml each) chickpeas, well drained
  • ½ cup Perth Pepper and Pestle Moroccan Tagine Everything Sauce
  • Few drops of Perth Pepper and Pestle Liquid Smoke
Garnish
  • Sprinkle of pomegranate seeds or toasted cumin seeds
  • ½ cup baby kale leaves, cilantro, or basil leaves
  • Coarse sea salt
Instructions
  1. Combine the first set of ingredients in a medium size Dutch oven and heat gently to just below the boiling point. Remove from heat and purée in blender til smooth. Ladle into individual soup bowls.
TO SERVE:
  1. Garnish and serve with garlic and chili Naan bread gently toasted in the oven.
