Balsamic Fig 'n Blue Cream Cheese Dip

Very classic indeed. Huge flavour and exceptional with strong red wines

Ingredients
- 250 gm soft Creamcheese
- 200 gms of your favourite blue cheese, softened
Topping:
- ¾ jar Perth Pepper and Pestle Balsamic Fig Red Pepper Jelly
Garnish:
- 200 gms blue cheese, crumbled
- 3 slices of crisp bacon, crumbled
- fresh sliced apples
Instructions
- Lightly blend the softened blue cheese into the creamcheese til well blended and smooth.
- Spread mixture evenly into shallow decorative dish. Then spread the Balsamic Fig Red Pepper Jelly over the creamcheese.
- Scatter the crumbled blue cheese and the bacon over the top of the jelly.
- Decorate one side of dish with apple slices.
TO SERVE
- Serve with your favourite crackers, fresh apple or Asian pear slices
- Leslie Stowe Rainforest Crackers are superb with this combination and they are very sturdy.
